Lamb Stella Mae Lamb, 72, of Lebanon, died Monday, May 11, 1998, at her home. She was born June 23, 1925, in Jackson County, Ky., the daughter of Cledus David and Gracie (Hazelwood) Lamb. She is survived by her mother, Gracie Lamb of Franklin; seven sons, Bruce (Patricia) Lamb of Lynchburg, Randal (Pamela) Lamb of New Vienna, Cledus DeVaughn (Elizabeth) Lamb of Lynchburg, Howard (Anita) Lamb of Blanchester, Merle (Sue) Lamb of Clarksville, Vincent (Joyce) Lamb of Lynchburg and Delmar (Lisa) Lamb of Clarksville; seven daughters, Elaine (Frank) Bishop of Franklin, Beverly (Tom) Freeze of Lebanon, Vivian Lamb of Richmond, Ky., Vina (Walter) Huff of Lynchburg, Margaret Hayes of Clarksville, Cecilia Lamb of Lebanon and Grace (Randy) Lovejoy of Lebanon; 32 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; six brothers, Cledus David Lamb Jr. of Franklin, James Orville Lamb, Donald Lamb and Printess Lamb, all of Waynesville, Fred Lamb of Marshall and Ernest Lamb of Winchester; and four sisters, Ruby Nease of Waynesville, Barbara Spencer of Mansfield, Mildred Hunter of Shelby and Brenda Cope of Middletown. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eldon P. Lamb, on Jan. 9, 1990; two brothers, Bobby Lamb and Eddie Lamb; and one sister, Gloria Lamb. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Clarksville Pentecostal Church of God. Pastor Bennie Southerland will officiate. Burial will follow in the Miami Cemetery near Waynesville. Friends may call today after 5 p.m. and until time of services on Wednesday at the church. The Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg is serving the family.
