Ludwick, age 71, of Orlando, Fla., died Thursday, May 28, 1998 at Florida East Hospital in Orlando. He was born June 26, 1926, in Highland County, Ohio, the son of Herschel Lloyd and Gladys (Frost) Ludwick. Mr. Ludwick was a retired sales representative for NAPA Auto Parts. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion Post 286. He is survived by three daughters, Sharon Beckwith of Deleon Springs, Fla., Barbara Pokorney and Beverly Bennett, both of Baton Rouge, La.; three sons, Gary Ludwick of Washington Court House, Mike Ludwick of Orlando; and one brother, Lloyd Ludwick of Hillsboro. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and several cousins. In addition to his parents, Mr. Ludwick was preceded in death by his wife, Isabelle (Leininger) Ludwick on June 14, 1978. Services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, June 5, 1998, at the Turner and Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Tom Stoops will officiate. Burial, with military honors being rendered by the Highland County Honor Guard, will follow in the Strange Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday, June 4, from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
