Thomas L. Davis
   Thomas L. Davis, 59, of New Vienna, died Saturday, May 9, 1998, at Hospice of 
Dayton.
   Born Dec. 22, 1938, in Greene Township, Clinton County, he was the son of Orville S. 
Davis and Mae Shader Davis Rogers.
   He was a member of Dunn's Chapel and Martinsville Lions Club.
   A retired auto mechanic, he formerly worked with his father at D&S Garage in 
Martinsville and formerly worked at the Randall Company.
   He is survived by his father and step-mother, Orville S. and Dorothy Davis of 
Martinsville; sons and daughters, Daryl L. Davis of Hillsboro, Thomas L. (GayLa) Davis 
of Martinsville and Roger I. (Michelle) Davis of Lynchburg; a half-sister, Debbie 
Guindon of Martinsville; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is also survived 
by nieces and nephews.
   He was preceded in death by his mother; a son, Jerry Lee Davis; and a brother, Kenneth 
E. Davis.
   Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 
327 N. South St., Wilmington. Burial will follow in the Martinsville I.O.O.F Cemetery. 
Friends may call at the funeral home today from 6-9 p.m.
