Mason kkmason@shianet.org April 27, 2000 *********************************************************************** Times-Gazette April 28, 1998 Clyde Teeters Clyde Teeters, 87, of Washington C.H., died at his residence Monday, April 27, 1998. He was born in Pike County Nov. 30, 1910, the son of Gordon and Melda (Smith) Teeters. He was a retired farmer from the Leesburg area and a member of the Sabina House of Prayer and also attended the Samantha Friends Church. He is survived by his wife, Hazel (Jones) Teeters, whom he married Sept. 15, 1931. Children surviving are daughters, Phyllis (Ron) Page of Washington C.H. and Carolyn (Bill) Sayers of Alexandria; sons, Richard (Judy) Teeters of Washington C.H. and Everett "Gene" (Teresa) Teeters of Leesburg; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sisters, Genevieve (Clyde) Maines of Hillsboro, Helen Carton of Chicago, Ill., and Verla Teeters of Hillsboro; and brothers, Claude (Katy) Teeters, Scott (June) Teeters of Hillsboro, and Dale (Janice) Teeters of Washington C.H. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Wanda Jane; sister, Bertha Pendry; and brother, Lewis Teeters. Funeral services will be held Thursday, 1 p.m., at the Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, and burial will be in the Smith Hill Cemetery, Pike County.
