Donald G. Waddell
   Donald G. Waddell, 77, of Latham, died Thursday, April 9, 1998, at his 
residence.
   He was born at Portsmouth on Sept. 16, 1920, the son of Glenn Franklin and 
Mattie Lee (Swimm) Waddell.
   Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. at the Hope Miller-Thompson 
Funeral Home with Rev. Donavon Humble officiating. Burial will follow in 
Resthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call on Sunday from 4 till 7 p.m. at the 
funeral home and one hour prior to service time on Monday.
