Ella M. Caplinger
   Ella May Caplinger, 82, of Blanchester, died March 31, 1998, at her residence.
   Born Dec. 27, 1915, in Pike County, she was the daughter of James and Marietta 
(Davis) Campbell.
   She is survived by her husband, Russell R. Caplinger of Blanchester; son, James 
(Brenda) Caplinger; grandchildren, Becky Reed, William Caplinger, Merl Caplinger, 
Alisha Caplinger and Lyle Caplinger; four great-grandchildren and three great-great-
grandchildren.
   She was a member of the Beech Grove Free Will Baptist Church and had been a cook 
in the Blanchester Schools for 21 years.
   Visitation will be held Friday from 6-9 p.m. at Hannah Tufts Schildmeyer Family 
Funeral Home, 120 West Main St., Blanchester. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 
10:30 a.m., at the funeral home. Pastor John Blount will officiate. Burial will follow in 
the Blanchester I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Hospice of Clinton County, 61 E. 
Main St., Wilmington, Ohio 45177.
