Harold D. Carroll
   Harold D. Carroll, 73, of Chilicothe, died Thursday afternoon at his residence.
   Born Sept. 29, 1924, in Ross County, he was the son of the late Daniel and Murlie 
(Sullivan) Carroll.  
   Harold retired after 40 years of service to the Mead Paper Co.
   He was a member of the UPIU Local 731, Mead Retirees, Moose Lodge 1626 for 31 
years and was a social member of VFW Post 108.
   He is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Jean) Burns of Florida, Mrs. John 
(Jane) McDonald of Springfield, Mrs. Everett (Joanne) Harris of Chilicothe, Mrs. 
William (Joyce) Guzick of London, Mrs. Calvin (Judy) Gillispie of Grove City and Mrs. 
Jay (Ruth) McGuire of Chilicothe; one son, Lem (Pam) Carroll of Chilicothe; 19 
grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; sisters, Rosetta Bethel of Chilicothe and Kathryn 
Penbleton of Columbus; and brothers, Everett and Tom Carroll of Chilicothe.
   He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Nellie L. Bethel; one son, Harold 
"Bud" Carroll; one great-granddaughter, one sister and three brothers.
   Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today at the Fisher-Anderson-Ebright Funeral Home, 
Frankfort. Pastor Mark Jordan will officiate. Visitation and Moose Lodge service were 
held Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to Adena 
Hospice, 111 W. Water St., Chilicothe, Ohio 45601
