Clonch Emmanuel James Clonch, 82, of Hillsboro, died Wednesday, June 3, 1998, at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. He was born Sept. 6, 1915, in Cabell County, W. Va., the son of David Edward and Clara Ines (Bell) Clonch. He was a retired truck driver for Landmark. He is survived by his wife, Bessie (Morgan) Clonch, whom he had married on Jan. 7, 1972; one daughter and son-in-law, Jenny and Rick Baron of Allensburg; two sons and daughters-in-law, Bob and Barbara Clonch of Fayetteville/St. Martin area and Jim and Carol Clonch of Ft. Lauderdale; two sisters, Beulah Gossett of Barboursville, W. Va., and Mary Jarrell of Huntington, W.Va.; two brothers, Erna E. Clonch of Ona, W.Va, and William L. Clonch of Huntington, W. Va.; five step-daughters and sons-in-law, Phyllis and Bob Ward of Hillsboro, Patricia and Dale Williamson of Hillsboro, Linda and Danny Richmond of Hillsboro, Diana and Tom Goddar of Hillsboro and Nancy and Jim East of Hillsboro; a special granddaughter, Stephanie Harless of Hillsboro; 26 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Burial will follow in the Barnes Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
