Loraine Maxwell
   Loraine Maxwell, 91, of Hillsboro, died Wednesday, April 8, 1998, at Crestwood 
Nursing Center, Hillsboro.
   Born Nov. 24, 1906, in Clinton County, she was the daughter of Edward Achor and 
Charlotta (Pratt) Achor.
   She is survived by a brother, Robert Achor of New Vienna, and a sister-in-law, Helen 
Achor of New Vienna.
   She was "Aunt Raine" to 18 nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and nephews 
and great-great-nieces and nephews.
   She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James D. Maxwell; and four 
brothers, Donald Achor, Charles Achor, Wilber Achor and Carlos Achor.
   A member of the New Vienna Church of Christ, she was a former assembly worker at 
Autolite in Toledo.
   She graduated from New Vienna High School and received her nurse's training from 
General Hospital, now University Hospital, Cincinnati.
   Funeral services will be held at the L. Eugene Smith & Son Funeral Home, State Route 
73, New Vienna, Saturday at 11 a.m. Sidney Clay will officiate. Burial will follow in the 
Martinsville I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Visitation will be held today, 6-8 p.m., at the funeral 
home.
   Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
