Merlin A. Ross
   Merlin Alden Ross, 85, of Latham, died Tuesday, May 19, 1998 at Crestwood Nursing 
Center.
   He was born March 3, 1913 in Powell, Ohio, the son of the late Otis and Enola (Jordan) 
Ross.
   He is survived by a son Lorn Ross of Aurora, Colorado; two daughters, Margie Dupuis 
of Taylor, Michigan and Zola Schuman of Effingham, Kansas; eight grandchildren; two 
great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
   Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. on Friday, may 22 at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral 
Home in Sinking Spring with Bruce MacDonald officiating. Burial will follow in the 
Washburn Cemetery.
   Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
