Ward L. Coonrod
   Ward Lee Coonrod, 62, of Greenfield, died Wednesday, May 6, 1998, at Fayette 
Memorial Hospital, Washington C.H.
   Born March 12, 1936, in Ross County, he was the son of Thomas M. and Lilly I. 
(Wilson) Coonrod.
   He is survived by his wife, Irene Edwards; two sons and daughters-in-law, Donnie and 
Kazuko Edwards of Friendswood, Texas, and Bradford and Debra Coonrod of 
Wilmington; four daughters and sons-in-law, Carole and Rufus Cox of Leesburg, Leona 
Coonrod of Greenfield, Cynthiana Coonrod of Wilmington and Loretta and Mark Cloud 
of Greenfield; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and four sisters, Martha Cox of 
Leesburg, Alice Jo Baker of Greenfield, Gloria Jean Ireson of Columbus and Linda Lou 
McGlone of Greenfield.
   He was preceded in death by five brothers, Johnny, Irvin, Larry, Harry and Thomas 
Coonrod, and two sisters, Ruthie and Irene.
   Services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at the Anderson-Strueve Funeral Home, 
Greenfield. The Rev. William Bray will officiate. Burial will follow in Bridges Cemetery, 
Bridges. Friends may call at the funeral home 4-8 p.m.
