Larry J. Beatty
   Larry J. Beatty, 38, of South Salem, died Friday, May 8, 1998, from an automobile 
accident.
   Born Aug. 11, 1959, in Greenfield, he was the son of Roscoe Beatty Sr. and Kathleen 
(Leverton) Beatty.
   He is survived by a daughter, Kimberly Beatty of Troy; sons, Brandon Beatty of 
Kentucky and Ryan Beatty of Kentucky; brothers, Gary Beatty of Greenfield, Danny 
Beatty of Greenfield and Ross Beatty of Arizona; step-brothers, Scott Pearson of 
Greenfield and Mike Montgomery of Washington C.H.; sisters, Nancy Lytle of 
Greenfield, Maria Marler of Hillsboro, Karen Gander of Arizona and Evelyn Powell of 
Kenton; step-sisters, Tracy Eversole of Greenfield and Amy Cowman of Greenfield; 
several nieces and nephews, two great-nieces, one great-nephew and a special girlfriend, 
Mary Diane Knisely.
   He was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Beatty.
   A member of Bible Missionary Church, he was a painting contractor.
   Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Murray Funeral Home, Greenfield.
   The Rev. Ken Burchett will officiate. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery. 
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
