Pryor, 73, of Greenfield, died Tuesday, March 17, 1998, at her residence. Born Aug. 30, 1924, in Greenfield, she was the daughter of John Grieves and Lillian (Childes) Grieves. She is survived by sons, David Pryor or Greenfield, Dennis Pryor of Columbus and Danny Pryor of Greenfield; daughters, Mrs. Gary (Vicki) Turner of Portland, Ore., Mrs. Tony (Sharon) Zarcardi of Masa, Ariz., Mrs. Benjamin (Carolyn) Stage of Mt. Sterling and Mrs. James (Sheila) McElhatton of Mt. Sterling; 23 grandchildren; 25 great- grandchildren; a brother, John L. Grieves of McAlester, Okla.; and a granddaughter whom she raised, Cristina Pryor of Greenfield. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin Pryor Jr.; brothers, Everett Grieves, Elmer Grieves, and Ralph Grieves; and sisters, Alma Butcher, Nora McCoy, Myrtle Bennett and Mable Miller. She was a member of the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary 1325 and the Baptist Church. She had been a machine operator at U.S. Shoe Corporation. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Friday, March 20, at the Murray Funeral Home, Greenfield. The Rev. Robert K. Blaine will officiate. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
