Paulding were held at 2 pm today in St John's Lutheran Church, Briceton. Burial was in St Paul Cemetery. Mr Hartwig died at 3:30 pm Saturday in Paulding County Hospital shortly after admission. He was born Feb 22, 1922 in Paulding County to Fred and Bessie (Leslie) Hartwig. In addition to his widow, the former Mary Doster, he is survived by three daughters, Mrs Rex (Lula Mae) Ankney, Paulding, Linda, Toledo, and Lora, at home; a son, James R. at home; two brothers, Fred and Ray, Haviland; and six sisters, Mrs Mae Green, Fort Wayne, Mrs Freida Hammons, Cloverdale, Mrs Mary Gray, Mrs Florence Sanderson and Mrs Carrie Cotterman, all of Paulding, and Mrs Deanna Adkins Oak Hill. Mr. Hasenkamp died Tuesday in Hudson. He was the brother of Her- man and Paul Hasenkamp, Mrs Gilbert Trentman and Mrs Ed Blankemeyer, all of Delphos, Mrs. Thomas Calvelage of Ft. Jennings and Mrs. Robert Calvelage, Lima. Harvey 62 of 1845 Dutch Hollow Rd. Elida, were 1 p.m. today in Siferd Westwood Chapel. Burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery. She died Wednesday in St Rose De Lima Hospital, Henderson, Nev. She was born Dec. 23, 1914, in Muncie Ind, to Lloyd B. Harvey. He survives. Also surviving are three sons, Bruce Harvey of Port Clinton, Jay Calvin Harvey of Lima and Rex Harvey of Cincinnati; a daughter Jama B. Upperman of Columbus; three brothers, Virgil Passmore of Gordon Neb., and Robert Cross and Chester Case both of Muncie, Ind.; and four grandchildren. B. HASELMAN Feb. 17, 1969 A Requiem High Mass was intoned at 10 a. m. today in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Ottoville for the funeral of Aloysius B. Haselman, 44, of Rt. 2, Cloverdale Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery Ottoville. Mr. Haselman died at 12:45 a. m. Saturday at his home after an extended illness. Born Oct 6. 1924 in Ottoville he was a son of Joseph and Laura (Hamburg) Haselman. He never married. His mother, with whom he resided survives. Also surviving is a sister Mrs James (Mary) Klausing, Fort Jennings. Mr Haselman was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church. He was engaged in farming. Hartwig, 51, of Rt. 1, Haviland, were at 2 p m today in St Paul Lutheran Church, Haviland, the Rev. Fred Grosse of officiating Burial was in Live Oak Cemetery. Paulding Veterans of Foreign Wars will conduct gaveside services. Mr. Hartwig died 3 p.m. Thursday in Paulding County Hospital after being a patient eight weeks. Born Jan. 25, 1918, in Paulding County, he was the son of Fred and Gertie (Hasse) Hartwig. He was a farmer and an employe of Central Foundry in Defiance. He was a veteran of World War II, a member of the Widow's Son Lodge F & AM, the Corona Chapter of OES, the Cecil Grange, the Hicksville Eagles Lodge and St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Surviving are his widow, the former Ruth Baker; six daughters, Mrs. Neil (Mae) Green of Fort Wayne, Mrs. Kenneth (Mary) Gray, Mrs. Doyle (Florence) Sanderson, Mrs. Richard (Carrie) Cotterman, Mrs. Robert (Deeanne) Adkins all of Paulding and Mrs Ralph (Frieda) Hammons of Cloverdale; three brothers. James R. of Paulding, Fred and Ray, both of Haviland. 11-3-1969 ------------------------------ X-Message: #7 Date: Fri, 11 Dec 1998 17:47:54 -0500 From: Maggie Stewart-Zimmerman Subject: OBIT: HARUFF, Auglaize County, 1965 May 25, 1965 Spencerville Man Killed Early Today A 28 year old Spencerville man, David Haruff was killed early today when kids car hit the abutment of the Main Street Road bndge over the Auglaize River two mites nor h of Buck. land After crashing into the abutment the car dropped onto the mud below. Dr. Dale Kile of St. Marys Auglaize County Coroner ruled death from a broken neck. Time of death was not able to be de- termined. The accident was discovered by Douglas Hock at 6:15 a.m. as he was returning home from work in Spencerville. The accident caused the bridge to lean which resulted in Hook's investigation. Damage to the bridge has been estimated to exceed $65,- 000 and the Main Street Road will probably he closed between six months and a year. Mr. Harruff was employed at the Randall Graphite Corp, in Lima. His wife Evelyn resides in Spencerville and his father Dale Harruff is a rural mail carrier for the Spencerville Post Office. Tuesday Funeral Home, 900 West Grand Ave Lima, for Lisa L. King, 18, of 9060 Ridge Rd., Rt. 2, Delphos, who was killed in a car-train accident at 12:20 a.m. Saturday. The Reverend Leonard L. Klotz will officiate. Burial will be in Sugar Ridge Cemetery of Leipsic. Troopers of the Lima post of the State Highway Patrol said Miss King's auto was northbound on Kemp Road when her car was struck by a westbound train on ConRail tracks. Miss King was thrown from her auto on impact, according to troopers Allen County Coroner Dr William Noble pronounced Miss King dead on arrival at St Rita's Medical Center at approximately 1:30 a m from a broken neck. She was born Feb. 17 1960 to Paul R. and Betty (Ramsey) King. Her father is deceased. Her mother resides at 9060 Ridge Rd. Other survivors include a brother, Jack A. of Lima; a sister, Mrs Patrick (Jill) Bloomfield of Defiance and paternal grand mother. Mrs. Daisy King of Brower Road Lima. She was employed by Ex-Cell-O Corp of Lima, and was a member of St Mark's United Methodist Church, Lima, and a 1978 graduate of Jefferson Senior High School. He was born July 15 1874, in Allen County to Merritt E and Elizabeth (Wicks) Harvey. On Dec 19, 1895, he married Eva Magdalena Mack. She died in 1961. Surviving are two grandsons James Hooker of Bryan and William Hooker of Cleveland and several great-granddaughters. Two daughters preceded him in death. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church of Spencerville and a charter member of the Black Cat Club of Spencerville. She married Henry S. Hartman Aug 16, 1923 and he survives. Also surviving are three sons, Richard E. Hartman of Rt 1, Elida, Paul G. Hartman of Millersburg, and David L. Hartman of Standard, Ill.; one sister, Mrs Florence Brunk of Elida; and nine grandchildren. She was a member of Pike Mennonite Church of Elida. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Pike Mennonite Church, the Rev. Kenneth Benner officiating Burial will be in the church cemetery. He married Irene Wilson, who survives at Allen Inn.
