Troxel George W. Troxel, 72 of 1036 Findlay rd. died a 2 p.m. Tuesday in Memorial hospital after an illness of seven weeks, three weeks of which were spent in the hospital. The man was a carpenter-contractor and spent all his life in Allen co. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Vernice Petree, 532 N. West st; one brother, John Troxel of Beaverdam; two grandchildren, Mrs. Richard Finn, 532 N. West st. and Joseph Troxel (should be Joe Petree) with the Seebees in the Aleutian Islands, and five great grandchildren. Funeral rites will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Cantwell funeral home in charge of Rev. Peter Steiner. Burial will be made in the Woodland cemetery at Beaverdam. The body will remain at the funeral home until time for the services.
