Corning- Mrs. Margaret Jane Atkinson, age 75, a native of Union Furnace, and for 59 years a resident of this community, died early this morning after a long illness. She was a member of the Pythian Sisters and the Rebekahs. Funeral services will be held Sat. afternoon at 2 o'clock in charge of Rev. W. E. Riebel at the First U. B. Church here with burial in Oakfield Cemetery . Survivors, in addition to her husband Samuel, include 12 children, Mrs. Forrest Alexander, New Straitsville; Mrs. Ethel Ruber of Delaware; Mrs. Leah Lanning of Columbus; Mrs. Margaret King of Columbus; Mrs. Elizabeth Burns, Glouster; Albert A. Atkinson Corning; Walter Atkinson, Columbus; A. D. and George Atkinson of Bucyrus; William, Earl, and W. E. Atkinson of Columbus, and Jessie Atkinson of Brewster. Thirty three grandchildren and eight great grandchildren also survive.
