NOTES Although it doesn't state it here, in other records I found that Jane Austin Lormer was born in Ireland. A historical note here is the Irish Potato Famine caused many Irish to immigrate to England, particularly the larger cities such as Liverpool and Manchester. This famine and subsequent immigration was in 1846. Jane Austin born in Ireland, married William Lormer in 1846 in Manchester, England. ***Submitted by JoAnne Bailey Stallman, Rt. #1, Box 120, Holmesville, OH 44633 ------------------------------ X-Message: #2 Date: Sat, 3 Apr 1999 00:52:47, -0500 From: AUPQ38A@prodigy.com (MRS GINA M REASONER) Subject: GEORGE FAMILY BIBLE - STARK COUNTY OHIO The cross road of our nation, Records & Pioneer Families January-March 1984 Vol. XXV No. 1 Published by The Ohio Genealogical Society (no copyright listed) GEORGE FAMILY BIBLE This bible is Welsh.
