On December 13, 1918 her companion answered the call of the Master, and since that time she has walked life's pathway alone, yet not alone, for she always realized the manifest presence of her Lord. Neither her home nor her heart ever closed against a worthy person in need. Besides her large family of children, she tenderly mothered two grandchildren, Marjorie Guthrie, now Mrs. R. E. Martell of Toledo, and Lloyd E. Champion of Genoa, Ohio. There are left to cherish her memory, two daughters, Mrs.. C. P. Hopkins of Jasper, Mich., Mrs. C. R. Ohlinger of Delta. And two sons, R. D. Interment was made in Greenlawn cemetery. Just beyond this shadow land Where all is bright and fair, We know fulwell these dear hands Will palms of victory hear. Where crystal streams through endless years Flow over golden sands, And where the old grow young again We'll clasp our mother's hands.
