He was born August 17, 1926 in Corning Ohio and was a member of the American Legion. He is survived by one son; Byron Jr.; three daughters, Barbara, Beverly and Karen; one grandson Scott Atkinson; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Atkinson, Ohio; two brothers Robert E. and Sheldon and one sister Patricia Tolbert. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 20 at 11 AM at St Paul's Lutheran Church, Bucyrus, Ohio. Interment will be in Oakbrook Cemetery, Bucyrus. Note: That the Mrs. George Atkinson, in the Obit, was George's third wife, not Byron's mother. Conway Requiem High Mass will be sung at 9 a.m. tomorrow in St. Margaret Mary Church, North College Hill, for Edward M. Conway, cafe owner, who died suddenly at his home, 6827 Baker (correct is Bake) Ave., North College Hill Friday. The Mt. Healthy Fraternal Order of Eagles, of which Mr. Conway was a member, will hold services at the Hawthorne funeral home, Mt. Healthy, at 8 p.m. today. Burial will be in St. Josephs New Cemetery. A native of Cincinnati, Mr. Conway, who was 42 years old, was a member of the Knights of St. John and the North College Hill Civic Club. Cincinnati Post or Cincinnati Times Star July 8, 1945 Edward Conway A heart attack Friday took the life of Edward Conway, 42, owner of the Savannah Cafe, 1724 Sundale avenue, North College Hill for the last 5 years. He died at his home, 6827 Bake avenue, North College Hill. Mr. Conway was a lifelong resident of Cincinnati and a member of Knights of St. John, Eagles and North College Hill Civic Club. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Dorothy Conway; two sons Edward M. and Richard R. Conway both at home; two daughters, Miss Mary Jane Conway, at home, and Mrs. Evelyn Ducker, of North College Hill; a grandson, Carlos M. Ducker; two sisters Mrs. Robert Meyer and Mrs. Elmer Wolfensperger, and four brothers Frank, Walter, William and Robert Conway, all of Cincinnati. Requiem High Mass will be intoned at 9 a.m. Monday at St. Margaret Mary Church, North College Hill, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery Eighth street and Nebraska avenue. The James E.
