George E. married August 10 18?7 to Jane A. Jones who was born in Cardigan, Wales in 1846, daughter of John P. and Annie (Lewis) Jones. Annie died 1882. They had a daughter, Annie. WALTER, Francis - Born Dutchess Co., N.Y. January 5, 1830, son of William and Ann (Dick) Walter, from Dublin, Ireland in 1828, lived N.Y. nine years, then Jefferson Co., Ohio twelve years, then to this county. William born November 25, 1790 and Ann born May 30, 1794. William and Ann had other sons: William and John and two others. Francis married here November 5, 1854 to Sarah Blackburn born Va., March 5, 1830, daughter of John and Sarah (Walden) Blackburn who came here in 1836. WAGGONER, Philip - Born Hunsburg, Germany October 1, 1810, son of Jacob and Margaret (Nichols) Wagoner. Philip came to this county 1848. Jacob born March 30, 1787 and died March 3, 1873 and Margaret born April 8, 1791, died March 3, 1860. Philip married 1st Ellen Caliher born 1808 and died August 3, 1860. They had Joseph born February 5, 1839, Philip died young, Catherine born July 19, 1841 (lived Junction City, Or), Philip #2 born January 11, 1843 (lived Wash. Territory), Ada 1844-1863, James born February 1, 1846 (lived Farmington, Wash. Territory) and Daniel born October 1, 1848. Philip married 2nd Ann Reynolds Cayton born Wesport, Mayo County, Ireland August 1836, daughter of Lawrence and Bridget (Cannon) Reynolds. Bridget died November 11, 1877. Philip and Anna had: John, Annie, George, Mary and Joseph. George and Joseph drowned in Symmes Creek. PAKE, Dr. James H. - Born April 1-0, 1857 in Zanesville, Ohio, son of Philip L. and Melissa (Hopkins) Pake. Philip died when James was age 6, leaving 3 sons. The father of Melissa Hopkins Pake was James H. Hopkins born 1790 in Pa., married in 1818 to Jane Alderman and came to Meigs Co., Ohio in 1839 and raised 16 children. James H. Pake married 1879 at Pagetown, Ohio Mary E. Armstrong born Meigs Co., Ohio November 20, 1859, daughter of Wm. and Jane (Bowers) Armstrong. James H. Hopkins, father of Melissa was a War of 1812 soldier. PATTON, Dr. William K. - Born 1816 in Canada, son of John H. and Elizabeth (Willson) Patton. John H. born 1789 died 1834, Elizabeth born 1797, died 1849. Both died in Pittsburgh, Pa. Dr. Wm. K. Patton married Barbara A. Bostch August 9, 1840 in Pittsburgh, Pa. Barbara was born October 2, 1823 in Sunfish, Ohio and died 1878. Wm and Barbara came here 1853. Barbara was daughter of Jacob and Catherine (Risher) Boston. Jacob born 1788 and died 1857 and Catherine born March 12, 1786 and died 1869. Dr. Wm. and Barbara had: Catherine born 1841, Mary born 1844 died young, and Elizabeth born 1846 died young. PATTERSON, Dr. Daniel - Born May 27, 1823 in Canada East (Stanstead Plain), son of Daniel and Jane (Fox) Patterson. Daniel settled in this county in 1850. He married October 10, 1856 to Mary S.K. McDaniel born here May 29, 1830, daughter of Jehu and Elizabeth (Boggs) McDaniel, who settled here in 1807. Dr. Daniel's ancestors were from Mass. and Conn. Cribbage, May 22, 1850. She was born here April 1, 1830, daughter of Philip and Catherine (Jeffers) Cribbage. They had Edward born 1851, William born 1859, and Albert born 1862. He had a brother Evan Parry in Civil War. Lewis married Annie Davies in 1872 in Jackson Co., Ohio. She was born in that county September 16, 1847, daughter of Jenkin J. and Mary (Morgan) Davies, both natives of Wales. Lewis and Annie had 5 children.
