Mrs. Jordan had been a resident of the Presbyterian home in Youngstown for the past year. She died at Northside hospital, October 27, after an eight day illness, Her daughter, Mrs. J.H. Richards of Lakeside was with her during her illness and at the time of her death. Rev. Owen Bovier, pastor of the church, officiated at the funeral, and burial was made in the family lot in the Lay cemetery, with Nathan Cunningham, Howard Kauble, Dean Persing, Calrton Peck, Frank Waugh and Robert Spence as pallbearers. Eastern Star services were conducted at the Mitchell funeral home Saturday night by Clyde Chapter No. 73, of which she was a charter member. A daughter of Seba and Mary Gale Wickwire, she was born January 16, 1872 on a farm northeast of Clyde and moved to Clyde with her parents when she was a small child. She attended the Clyde school and graduated with the class of 1889. She was the mother ot two children, Tom Williams. Jr. of Cleveland by her first marriage, and Jessie Baker Richards by her second marriage. She later married Irvin Jordan and assisted him in operating the Dodge garage on McPherson highway. She had two brothers and three sisters, all of whom preceded her in death. She was the last member of this pioneer family. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Richards, three grandsons, and four great grandchildren. A son, Tom Williams, Jr. preceded her in death. Zona Gale, of literary fame, was a cousin. Attending the services from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Seba Estill, Robert Williams and daughter Gale of Cleveland, Mr. And Mrs. J.E. Mrs. Eliza Gray Wickwrie, 90, native of Venice township and one of the oldest residents of Seneca country passed away Thursday at her home near Attica following an illness of several weeks. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the home and burial was made in the Attica mausoleum. Mrs. Wickwire was a daughter of Franklin Gray, one of the earliest settlers of Venice township. In 1869 she was married to Alfred Wickwire, who together with a son Alfred, who was killed in action in France during the World War, preceeded her in death.
