Married 11 May 1837 to Martha K. Denison of Philadelphia. They had nine children, three dying in childhood. A son, William David Stuart died at age of 23 years. He and his brothers, John, Joseph, David, and James were in the mercantile business in Philadelphia. YOUNG, Garrison I - Born 28 June 1827 at Young's Mills, in the Valley of Achor, Columbiana Co., Ohio. Was an only child. Baptist faith. His mother was a Quaker but joined the Baptist church.
