She was the daughter of Gladys N. and Robert J. McKee. Mrs. Conrad was born near Danville, Knox Co., where her childhood and early youth were passed. She received her education in the schools of that community. On Dec. 25, 1915 she was united in marriage with Albert H. Conrad. In the year following, they located; in the vicinity of Perrysville and re-sided there at the time of her death. They were the parents of seven children, Margaret, Gerald, Ilene, Kenneth, Gladys, Betty and Richard, all at home. These children together with father and husband, her parents and two sisters, Mrs. Thelma Toms and Mrs. Rheva Hartshorne mourn her loss. Mrs. Conrad was a loving wife and mother, deeply absorbed in her family's welfare, she considered no gift of time and energy too great that added to the comfort of her loved ones. Mrs. Conrad was baptized by her pastor, Rev. Geo. M. Schrack of St. John's Lutheran church. The funeral services were held Friday afternoon from the M. One of Mrs. Ellinger's sons, Carl Ellinger, was killed in action in 1942 during the invasion of the Marshall Islands while he was serving with the U.S. Army. Ellinger, 74, of 915 Sherman Avenue will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in the Richard's Memorial Home, the Reverend Dr. E.E. Flack, dean of Hamma Divinity School, officiating. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery. Mr. Ellinger died Friday forenoon in City Hospital. Mr. Ellinger had been a Springfield resident 60 years and retired five years ago. (Dinkel) Ellinger; five daughters, Mrs. Rose McCampbell, Mrs. Helen Carr, Mrs. Bertha Kelly, Mrs. Frances Jones and Miss Agness Ellinger, all of Springfield; three sons, William, Homer, and Albert, all of Springfield; one sister, Mrs. Mary Montgomery of Logan; three brothers, Anthony of Springfield, Fred of Newark and Amos of Logan; 10 grandchildren and one great grandson.
