KIPLINGER, brother of D.E. KIPLINGER, of this city, died Wednesday afternoon at Lockport, ILL., at the age of 66 years Mrs. William WILSON, died at her home in Bluffton, Tuesday evening at 5 o'clock, after an eight weeks' illness. Death was the result of childbirth. Deceased married William WILSON, of this city, over five years ago. Her maiden name being Blanche CLARK. Her father for many years was marshal of Bluffton. She leaves three children. Joseph S. GERARD, of 497 S. Jackson St, died Tuesday after a long illness, heart trouble being the immediate cause of death. He was 70 years of age and served during the war in company B, 20th Ohio Infantry. A widow and three children survive him. Funeral services were held at the residence Thursday at 10 a.m. Among those injured on the Big Four passenger train, which was derailed and wrecked near Bloomington, ILL, Tuesday morning injuring nearly one hundred people, was Mrs. J.P. ADAMS, of Rosslyn, Washington State. Mrs. ADAMS was on her way to Lima, to visit Mrs. J.N. FLETCHER, of Bellefontaine Ave., to whom she is related. A dispatch states that she is crushed and bruised and may die. The injured lady is about 75 years of age. May Lose Her Hand The Orrville Independent says Mrs. John WITWER, nee Miss Grace SHAFFER, formerly of this city: Mrs. John WITWER who has been at the residence of her father-in-law, Amos WITWER, for eleven weeks, suffering terrible agony from a diseased hand will probably have to submit to an operation before obtaining relief. The hand has been lanced twelve times, but the relief has been temporary each time. An operation will soon be performed and the bone scraped, in the hope that permanent relief may be entertained. Mrs. WITWER. is an estimable lady, and in her terrible sufferings has the sympathy of a wide circle of friends.
