Anderson Thomas R. Anderson died Thursday at his home in Clouse Lane (Granville, Ohio). He was moved to Newark in the Citizen's ambulance and taken to the home of his daughter, Mrs. J.W. McLaughlin, 51 Allen St., Newark. He is survived by his wife; one son, W. J. Anderson of McDonoughville, La.; a daughter, Mrs. J. W. McLaughlin; two brothers, George and James of Barnesville; and a sister, Mrs. Lavine Flood of Eldon, Ohio. Mr. Anderson was a member of the Blue Lodge and Chapter No. 97, Masons; Newark Lodge No. 43, K. of P.; B. of L. E. No. 196 and a member of the East Main street M.E. Church. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the East Main Street M. E. Church, Newark. Rev. J. Emory Walter officiating. Internment was made in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Va, and a veteran of World War I, he had been a resident of the Akron area for 40 years. He was a member of the Kent Baptist Temple. He left his wife Frances, three brothers, Clinton Stroxtile, James Stroxtile and Raymond (Jack) Stroxtile, and two sisters-Dorthey Semones and Martha Garrett. He has served in the Word War 11, both in the Navy Reserves and the Navy. He was discharged with an Honorable discharge. He worked at the Toledo Plate and Window Company as Inspector. He died of an heart attack in St. Vincents Hospital. Services were held at Egan Funeral Home on Saturday, January 18, 9:40 a.m. A Requiem High Mass was held at 10:00 A.M at Blessed Sacrament Catherdral. .
