LOCAL HISTORY

As Recorded in the Corresponding Number of The Republican Thirty Years Ago.

From the Auglaize Republican, May 18, 1882

We are pained to announce the death of Mr. Thomas Sproul which occurred on 
Friday, May 12th, at his home near Waynesfield.  The funeral took place from 
the M.P. church in Waynesfield and his remains were laid to rest in Willow 
Branch cemetery. Mr. Sproul was always to be found upon the side of right and 
justice, and the community in which he lived sustains a great loss in his 
death.
