Hi , all! 
I'm looking for information on early divorces .What were considered 
acceptable grounds , etc.?
I was just reading a short article about this subject , and was fascinated to 
read that they were a lot more common than I had suspected . 
The article stated that Chicago granted 400 divorces in 1868 . 
Can anyone tell me more about this subject , or point me towards other 
sources?
