She was in her usual health until Wednesday evening when her condition was such as to cause the members of her family great concern. The attending physician pronounced her death to be due to congestion of the lungs. Mrs. Frantz was born in St. Sauveur, department Haut-Saone, France, November 7, 1820, making her age 85 years. She was the youngest child of Mr. and Mrs, Sebastian Faiver. March 22, 1833, the family left their home in France, and embarked for America. Upon arriving here, they first located in Holmes County, Ohio, where they remained for five years and then went to Harrisburg, Stark County, and Mrs. Frantz has resided in this vicinity continously for seventy-five years. In 1849 Miss Magdalene Faiver and Mr. Joseph Frantz were married. For forty nine years the family made their home on a farm just west of Louisville, but about two years ago they moved to their present home. Mr. Frantz died twelve years ago, but the following children survive; Misses Josephine and Mary Frantz, Mrs. August Samblanet, Joseph and August Frantz, of Louisville; Henry Frantz and Mrs. Frank Marthey, of Cleveland, Miss Euphrasia Frantz, of Lynn Haven, Florida, and Miss Clara Frantz, of Canton.
