Montgomery Co record center also had a copy of the English translation, which follows: WILL of Joseph Ehrhard, #64423 (transcribed from Probate Court Montgomery Co., Ohio record, Vol 67, p. 474, Case #64423) In the matter of the Last Will of Jos. Ehrhard, Deceased Probate Court, Montgomery County, Ohio Dayton, Ohio, January 22nd, A. D. 1926 This day an instrument in writing, purporting to be the Last Will and Testament of Jos. Ehrhard late of Dayton Township, in this County, deceased, be filed in this Court. And it now being shown to the satisfaction of the Court that said Testator left a widow surviving, and that due notice of the filing of said Will and of the application to admit the same to probate and record in this Court has been acknowledged in writing by the widow and next of kin of the Testator, it is therefore ordered that said application be heard forthwith. Thereupon on this day came George Bogner and Julius Hillgruber, the subscribing witnesses to said Will, who being duly qualified, testified to the due execution and attestation of said Will, which testimony was reduced to writing, by them respectively subscribed, and filed with said Will. Whereupon the Court finds that the aforesaid instrument of writing is the last Will and Testament of said Jos. Ehrhard, deceased; that the same was duly executed and attested; that the said Testator, at the time of signing the same, was of lawful age, of sound and disposing mind and memory, and under no undue or unlawful restraint whatsoever. It is, therefore, by the Court ordered that the said Will be admitted to probate, and that the same, together with the testimony of the witnesses above named, be entered of Record in this Court. All my just debts and funeral expense shall out of my estate be paid. My funeral expenses shall to the lowest accounted be. My wife Lena Ehrhard shall in my house reside as long as she lives. After her death shall her son Charles $5.00 (Five Dollars) receive as his inheritance. Her daughter Helena shall ($25.00 Twenty Five Dollars receive) as her inheritance. They show address, race, occupation, and whether a freeholder of land. Enumerations were used to determine voting districts, and were taken every four years from 1803 to 1911. Prior to 1863 enumerations recorded only white males. Quadrennial Enumerations are arranged within volumes by township and then by inhabitant's name. Where a span of dates is indicated, the records exist for every FOURTH year therein. Not all townships are represented for every county listed.
