These Indentures made this twenty eighth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and fifty one between Abner Page of the County of Darke and State of Ohio of the first party and Candace Bradford of the county and state aforesaid of the second party. witnesseth that the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of four hundred dollars to him in hand paid by the said party of the second part the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged granted bargained and sold and doest these presents grant x sell x convey and confirm unto the said party of the second part and her heirs and assigns forever all and singular the following described lot tract or parcel of land situate in the County of Darke and State of Ohio and described as follows to wit: the East half of the Northwest quarter of Section No Seventeen (17) Township No Thirteen (13) of Range No one (1) East of the lands heretofore x to sale at Cincinnati containing Eight acres more or less and all the estate x x interest claim and demand whatsoever of the said party of the first part of in and to the said premises with all and singular the rights privileges and appurtenances to the same belonging or in anywise appurtenances and the rents of x and profits thereof. The East half of the North West quarter of Section No Seventeen (17) Township No thirteen (13) of Range No One (1) East of this Land heretofore subject to sale at Cincinnati containing Eighty acres more or less. The reason of this conveyance is from the fact that on or about the 21st day of June 1851 there was a warranty Deed given to said Candence Bradford which Deed was not Recorded and is lost or mislaid from some unknown cause. The North half of the North half of Fractional Section number thirteen (13) of Range One East of the lands subject to sale in the District of Cincinnati containing one acre more or less in the Township of Jackson Darke County Ohio To have and to hold said premises with the appurtenances unto the said David Milton Lorton and unto his heirs and assigns forever and the said Abner Page and Eliza J Page wife of said Abner Page for themselves and heirs doth hereby covenant with said David Milton Lorton and with heirs and assigns that they are lawfully seized of the premises aforesaid that said premises are free and clear from all encumbrances whatsoever and that they will forever warrant and defend the same with the appurtenances unto the said David Milton Lorton and unto his heirs and assigns against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever.
