I am doing research on the ancestors and descendants of Michael Gantz. He 
was born 13 Oct 1783 in Colebrook,Lebanon,Pa. Three of his children,
Martin,George W. and Eliza, were born in Ohio and they all lived in Bethel 
Twp,Miami Co,Ohio from at least 1850. I am especially interested in finding 
the date/place of marriage of Michael & Margaret,her maiden name and the 
names of any other children they might have.  His parents were Friedrich 
Gantz & Catharina Elisabeth Kayser and they were married 1779 in Rapho 
Twp.,Lancaster,Pa.  Martin and George both had sons named Martin who were in 
a Biography from the 1909 History of Miami Co. Ohio.
Martin & Lydia Ann Heffner Gantz had a son,William Perry Gantz that moved 
first to Kansas then to Saline Co,Ar where he died in 1896.  The story 
passed down was that 5 brothers left Ohio traveling West,settling in 
Kansas,Oklahoma and Arkansas, and that William Perry was among them.  I 
haven't been able to prove this yet, but I do know that all of W.P.'s 
brothers were still at home when he was in Kansas in the 1880 Census.   If 
anyone is working on any one in this line or has any info on anyone in this 
line please contact me. I have some info and am willing to share whatever I 
have.
