COMBS of Caldwell, former commissioner of Noble county, was taken to a Marietta hospital, Tuesday morning, to receive special treatment. He was accompanied by his son, Charles. -------- The Columbia hotel and restaurant at this place was taken over last Wednesday night by the Citizens National Bank as the result of financial difficulties of the proprietor who is said to have lost heavily by the recent depreciation of stocks in which he had invested extensively. The gentleman is one of Caldwell=92s most highly esteemed men and his lgeions of friends are hopeful that a way may yet be found out of his financial straits. The hostelry is being operated under the direction of A.L.
