One article appeared in the June 30, 1864, Vol. X, No. 6, page 1 re the 57th O.V.V. I. Camp near Acworth, Georgia, June 6th, 1864. In this article it lists the death of 2d Lt. John A. Plum, Company E, who fell at the Battle of Resaca, Ga. Below it is a notice of the death of John C. Ramsey of the 49th Regiment, O.V.I. These seem to be resolutions from a meeting held by the commissioned officers of the 57th Regiment. I will type the information here the way it is in the newspaper. If anyone should like a scan of the newspaper article I can send it, it's just quite hard to read. Kathy Baker Headq'rs, 57th O.V.V.I., Camp near Acworth, Georgia, June 6th, 1864.
