Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Miss Margaret Giey died at the infirmary hospital Sunday at noon. Her age was sixty-six years. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Mary Monter, of Canton, and two brothers, Joseph Giey of North Industry and August Giey of Maximo. Miss Giey was a resident of Harrisburg for many years. She became physically unable to care for herself and a number of years ago was taken to the county institution. The body was taken to Paquelet Bros. undertaking parlors at Canton and on Wednesday morning funeral services were held at St. Mary's Catholic church at Harrisburg and were conducted by Rev. He was a member of the Louisville EUB church and Sunday School for 50 years. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Lillie Kerstetter and Mrs. Earl Gies of Louisville, and one brother, Horace Giey of North Canton. Funeral services were held on Saturday, Jan 6, in the Sluss Funeral Home with the Rev. J. S. Barnes officiating. Burial was made in Union Cemetery. Submitted by Anita A. Before his retirement he had been a diemaker for the Bonnot Company. He was 86, and was a member of First Christian Church in Canton and the Eagles Lodge. In addition to his widow, Orpha, he is survived by two half-sisters, Mrs. Maggie Geis and Mrs. Lillie Kerstetter of Louisville, a brother, Henry Giey of Louisville and a half-brother, Horace Giey of North Canton; also a number of nieces and nephews. Services in Canton on Wednesday were conducted by the Rev. Harold Davis and interment was in Union Cemetery, Louisville. Submitted by Anita A. A native of Louisville, he was a North Canton resident for 40 years and was an Engineer at the Hoover Co. for 45 years, retiring in 1970. He was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, a 70 year member of Julliard Lodge #460 of Louisville and was a 32nd degree Mason. Preceded in death by his wife, Lucille, in 1984. Survived by a son, and daughter-in-law, Daryl and Marilyn Giey of North Canton. Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in the Arnold Funeral Home with Rev. Sandy Hutchinson officiating.
