The newspaper is unknown, but is most likely the "Greenfield Daily Times" of Greenfield, Ohio, or, the "Chillicothe, Ohio "Gazette". "Mrs. Myrtle Storts. Mrs. Myrtle Hester Storts, 86, Frankfort Rt. 2, died Thursday at 9:30 a.m. in her residence. Born Dec. 1, 1882 in Ross county, she was a daughter of Joseph and Hannah Long Hester. Her husband, Harrison Storts, died Sept. 6. 1961. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Mrs. Storts is survived by three sons, Maurice H., Homer E. and Roy E., all of Frankfort Rt. 2, and 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons, a brother and a sister. Service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Murray funeral home. Rev. Howard C. Pettit will officiate. Interment will be made in South Salem cemetery. HESTER. Howard W. Hester, 83, of State College, Pa., a native of South Salem, died Saturday, July 29, 2000, in Hastings, Pa. He was born Aug. 12, 1916, in South Salem, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John and Carolina F. Strickrott Hester. He was graduated from Buckskin High School, attended New Orleans Baptist Cemetery for one year and Columbia Bible College in South Carolina for three years. He served in the U.S. Army in World War II in the Southe Pacific theatre. He was retired from Penn State University, where he was a research aide at the Land and Water Institute. He also was a reporter and photographer with the Lock Haven Express for one year, the Times-Union and Democrat & Chronicle of Rochester, N.Y., and the Medina Daily Journal. He also was employed by U.S. Printing and Lithograph Co., St. Charles, Ill., and Conservative Baptist Foreign Mission, Chicago. Survivors include his wife, Dors A. Whipple Hester of State College, Pa., whom he married July 23, 1949; a daughter, Cheryl R. Hester of York, Pa.; sons Curtis A. and Ruth Hester of Hastings, Pa., and Paul H. Hester of State College, Pa.; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Aug. 3, at noon at Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, 1034 Benner Pike, State College, Pa., with the Rev. Drew Fenstermacher officiating. Burial will be in the Centre County Memorial Park in State College. Visitation will be Wednesday, Aug. 2, from 7 - 9 p.m. and Thursday 10 to noon at the funeral home. Mrs. Garnet Mae Cokonougher, 78, of Washington C.H., passed away Sept. 10, 1992, at Auburn Manor Nursing Home. She was born May 19, 1914, in Greenfield, to Albert and Margaret (Webb) Wilson. She is survived by two daughters and one son, Mary Hollis, Beverly (James) Smith and Lowell (Joyce) Hollis, all of Washington C.H. Five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive. She is also survived by four brothers and one sister, James R. Wilson, Furman Wilson and Varney Wilson, all of Greenfield, Richard Wilson of Hillsboro and Sarah Sword of Washington C.H. She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Russell Wilson. Funeral services were held Saturday morning at Gerstner-Kinzer Funeral Home with Rev.
