I am trying to find information on my great grandfather Adam McLEAN. He died in 1899 in Athens county, Ohio. I ahve the obit but there is no death certificate to be found. Adam had a brother named JOHN who died in 1913 in Athens county. It lists GEORGE as the father and ELIZABETH BARRAS as the mother, but no place of birth. We do know though that both men were immigrants, possibly from England. They immigrated at seperate times in the mid-1800's and we have their naturalization records. That info however does not supply much. Adam married SARAH ANN CARPENTER (she also went by SARAH ANN WILSON). Adam's brother John, funy enough, married Sarah's mother, MARY JANE WILSON. Mary Jane Wilson's also went by the last name of CARPENTER too sometimes. Mary's parents were George and Margaret WILSON. Any help on these people would be greatly appriciatted. I ahve pictures of all many of these people and a large descendant tree for them that I can share. My email is JEWEL8118@aol.com. I have a web site also which is http://oorg.bizland.com if you'd like to check that out. It has complete descendant trees of all major peoples as well as photos and other info. Thanks again in advance. Julie North Huber -------------------------------- End of OH-FOOTSTEPS-D Digest V01 Issue #93 ******************************************
