Ohio Court House. The index has John's surname as PINNIR(R), and the below article spelled it PENNIX (E), but in the original Partition record, it is spelled correctly as PINNiX(X). Eliza, Emily, Samira, Lavonia and Sarah are the daughters and heirs of Nancy PINNiX-RISLEY, dec'd Jan. 20, 1845. John B. PINNIX, William PINNIX, and Nancy PINNIX-RISLEY are the children of Edward PINNIX. Nancy PINNIX-RISLEY m. W. RISLEY who died after Nancy (1845), but before the petition was filed in 1859.
