ABBOTT Mrs. Mary Ellen Abbott wife of William Abbott died Tuesday evening September 14, at her home in Ashville of dropsy, aged 52 years. She had been ill for four years. Mrs. Abbott's maiden names was Mary Ellen Hoover and she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William J. Hoover. She was born in this country, June 13, 1862 and married Mr. Hoover 1878. (**that would appear to be a typo, in that she didn't marry Hoover). She is survived by her husband, two sons, George and Jess Abbott, and daughters, Mrs. W. A. Duvall. (though it says daughters, only name is listed) The funeral will be held Friday morning at 10 o'clock from the Methodist Episcopal church in Ashville. Rev. Mr. HawK (it says both Rev. and Mr.in the paper), will officiate. Burial will be in Reber Hill Cemetery. **Date written in by hand is Sept 14 -------------------- MRS. IMLER DIED FROM SHOCK (is the name Imler or Immel **see below) Mrs. Anna Imler, wife of William Imler, died Sunday morning at 9 o'clock at her home on East Union street from a shock due to an accident that befell her Saturday morning when she fell at her home breaking her left leg near the near. Mrs. Imler had been an invalid for years suffering from goiter. She was born in Jackson township February 12, 1871, and was a daughter of Robert and Esther Westbury. She married William Immel July 4, 1889, and is survived by her husband and three children: Daisy, wife of William Hickey, John and Miss Gladys Immel at home. Of her immediate family four sisters: Mrs. Samuel Raub, of this city; Mrs. Dora Teets, of New Holland; Mrs. Rosa Petty, of Jackson township and Mrs. Ollie Westbury and a brother, John Westbury of Williamsport are living. The funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Dunkard church Rev. Mr. Conover officiated. Interment was in Forest cemetery. - --------------------------- FUNERAL OF MRS. MARY BURNS The funeral of Mrs. Mary Burns was held Thursday morning from St. Joseph's church a requiem high mass being celebrated at 9 o'clock by Rev. Father Hannan, who also read the committal service at the graveside. Interment was in St. Joseph's cemetery. The pallbearers were T. D. Tracy, James Cullen, D. J. Ryan, C. E. Reilly, D. J. Kirwin, and John Drum. Those from a distance who attended the funeral were: Mrs. Julia Tracy and daughters, Misses Mary and Julie and son, T. D. Tracy, Mrs. Thomas Cannon and daughter, Miss Nan and Mrs. Mary Enright of Columbus, Mr. George Hedges of Indianapolis, Mrs. W. B. Cullen, Mr. and Mrs. John H.
