Ill For A Long Time.  Funeral, Friday At Ware's Funeral Home ------- Mr. Harley Maddux, 62 passed away at the Ross County Home, Tuesday evening at 7:30 o'clock where he had been a patient since 1929. He was partially blind, when he entered the Home and had been totally blind for the last year.  He had been in poor health for a number of years. A native of Clarksburg, he was born on Aug 6, 1885, the son of Carey and Rose Hancher Maddux.  He was married to Miss Reetha Ater, who died Dec 31, 1921.  His mother passed away on Jan 19, 1930. For several years, Mr. Maddux was employed by Mr. Cash Ater and carried the mail from Atlanta to Clarksburg.  Later he was engaged in farm work. Surviving are the father of Clarksburg sisters, Mrs. Glen and Mrs. Midge Jackson of Chicago, McPherson of Clarksburg and Ill; and a brother, Roy Madddux also of Chicago. funeral service will be held at Ware's Funeral Home, Chillicothe, on Friday at 3:30 p.m. with the Rev. I. C. Wright officiating. Garrison New Holland Thomas Benton Garrison 69 years old retired farmer and one of the oldest residents of this community, died at his home at 4 p.m. Friday. He had been in failing health for several months. Born Oct 9 1858, the son of Hassel and Eleanor Parker Garrison, he married Ella J. Rowe in 1882. they had been married 66 years. Surviving in addition to the wife, are a son, Roy of Washington C. The Rev. W. A. Ervin will officiate and interment will be in the New Holland Mausoleum by the Kirkpatrick and Sons funeral Home. The Rev. L. W. Mann was the minister, and the burial by the L. E. Hill funeral home was in Mt. Pleasant cemetery. Pallbearers were Doyie Fouch, Harold Holderman, Herbert Lemley, Merle Arledge, Ernest Stoffer and Ernie Miller. - -------------------------------------- William Wright Willaim (Scott) Wright 74, native of Ross county and resident of Lyndon died at 8:10 p.m. Friday at Greenfield hospital where he has been in failing health for some time. He was born March 18, 1874 the son of Esby and Jane Wilson Wright. He is survived by three sons, Edgar, and Walter of Lyndon and Harold of Greenfield Route 1, six grandchildren, and a brother George Wright of Washington, Kansas. He was predeceased by his wife, Margaret Ann Putnam Wright, a son, six brothers and two sisters. Mr. Wright, a retired farmer, was a member of the Presbyterian church at South Salem.
