"LAWRENCE EDWARD KISER. 1955 - 2001. Lawrence Edward Kiser, 46, of Hillsboro died unexpectedly Monday, Dec. 3, 2001 at the Highland District Hospital. He was born Oct. 4, 1955 in Hillsboro, the son of Frank W. and Rosemary (Jones) Kiser who survive and reside in Hillsboro. He was a truck driver for R & L Trucking Company in Wilmington and a 1974 graduate of Hillsboro High School. He was baptized in the Marshall Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a daughter, Amy Kiser of Hillsboro, two granddaughters, Kylie and Auberie Utley of Hillsboro, sisters and brother-in-law, Mary Grooms and Dianna and Loren Haines of Hillsboro, brothers and sisters-in-law, Frank and Kathy Kiser of Xenia and Jerry and Lori Kiser of Hillsboro and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. John Porter will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home in Hillsboro. "SHERYL DELORIS (BETHEL) DANIEL. 1957 - 2001. Sheryl Deloris (Bethel) Daniel, 44, of Chillicothe, died Oct. 29, 2001 at Mt. Carmal West, Columbus, following an extended illness. She was born Aug. 6, 1957 in Ross County, to William D. and Deloris Y. Murray Bethel. On July 2, 1978, she married Harry T. Daniel, who survives. In addition to her parents and loving husband, survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Mindy and Jeremy Sherwood, Ashley Daniel, and Shasta Daniel, all of Chillicothe; son, Harry T. Daniel, Jr., Chillicothe; brother and sisters, Pam Bethel, Karen and Glen Leach, and Terry and Cindy Bethel; two nieces, Callie Bethel and Lacie Leach, all of Chillicothe; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and loving friends. Sheryl was a baptized member of the Hillsboro Seventh-Day Adventist Church where she was a very active member of the church including serving as a Pathfinder Leader. She was a very loving mother, dedicated to her family. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, 2001 at the Haller Funeral Home, Chillicothe, with Pastor Jack Robinson and Pastor Kenneth Knops officiating. She was born Nov. 14, 1943 in Pike County, the daughter of Horward and Elma Knisley Elliott. She is survived by Charlie Davis, her husband of 43 years; her mother, Elma Elliott; six children and their spouses, William Howard and Brigette Davis, Stephen Ray and Lora Davis, Charles Edward and Tracy Davis, all of Bainbridge, Vicki Lynn and Gary Minzler, of Hillsboro, Richard Lee Davis, of Bainbridge, and Christy Anne Rhoades, of Hillsboro; eight grandchildren, Jeremy, Justin, Tara, Jane, Megan, Dylan, Matt, Bradley and Kiley; five brothers, Paul, Wilson, Ralph, Melvin and Darrell Elliott, all of Bainbridge; several nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Catherine Davis. She was predeceased by her father, Howard Elliott and sister, Charlene Elliott. She was past Worthy Matron of Leighton OES Chapter 521 of Sinking Springs and member of the Hillsboro OES Chapter 441. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, 2001 at the Smith-Moore Funeral Home, Bainbridge with the Rev. Homer Swearingen officiating. Burial in Bainbridge Cemetery.
