DOROTHY THOMPSON Wife of Research Bureau Director Dies at 36. Mrs.Dorothy Thompson, wife of Lorin Thompson, Director of the Research Bureau, Cincinnati Employment Center, died yesterday at Christ Hospital after an illness of a week. She was 36 years old. Her home was at 1334 Herschel Avenue, Hyde Park. Mrs. Thompson born in Columbus, Ohio; moved to Cincinnati with her husband and two young daughters, Joan and Peggy, three years ago from Delaware, Ohio. Her husband formerly was head of the Psychology Department of Ohio Wesleyan College Delaware. Besides her husband, and daughters, her mother, Dr. Ada Wright, Medical Director of the New Jersey State Home for Girls, Trenton, N. J, survives her. Services will be held tomorrow night at the George H. Rhode funeral home. Burial will be at Columbus Wednesday. --------------------- MRS. JOSEPHINE HITTNER Widow of Former Democratic leader Dies at 72. Services for Mrs. Josephine Hittner, who died yesterday at her home, 13 West McMillan Street after a brief illness, will be held Thursday morning at the Huth funeral home. Requiem high mass will be intoned at St. George Church. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Mrs. Hittner, who was 72 years old, was the widow of George Hittner former Democratic executive in the Twelfth Ward. She was a member of St. George Married Ladies Society and a charter member and former officer of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of St. John of that parish. Two sons, Stanley A. and George Hittner, and a daughter Mrs. William Langenecker, survive her. -------------------------- FIRST SUNDAY In Prison Is Another Uneventful Day for Anna Hahn--Sermon Tuned in By Radio. Columbus Bureau, 207 spahr Building., Special Dispatch to The Inquirer Columbus, Ohio, December 5--Anna Marie Hahn, awaiting death for the poison murder of Jacob Wagner, passed her first Sunday in her special cell in Ohio Penitentiary quietly, devoting some of her time to listening to radio broadcasts of church services. Her Sunday dinner was the same as served in the prison dining rooms, steak, mashed potatoes, and peas, Warden James C. Woodard said. He added that the woman, scheduled to be executed March 10, was "getting along just fin," and that she did not appear upset by her son's visit.
