MRS. LEO WRIGHT
JEFFERSONVILLE--Mrs. C. Wright, 75, wife of Leo Wright,  Compton rd, north of 
here, died at 7:30 pm. Wednesday in Memorial Hospital where she had been a 
patient eight days.

She was a native and lifelong resident of the Jefferson Community, and a 
member of the Jefferson Methodist church.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Lt. Col. Harold Wright, 
USAF, retired Colorado Springs, Colo, and J. Roger Wright, of Columbus; six 
grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 2 pm Saturday in the Morrow Funeral Home.  The Rev. 
Nobel M. Rompel, pastor of Grace Methodist Church, Washington C. H. and the 
Rev. Robert B. St. Clair, pastor of the Jeffersonville church, will 
officiate.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 until 5 and 7 until 9 pm Friday.

GREENFIELD --Walter P. Wright, 59, died at 12:55 a.m. Friday in his home near 
Lyndon.

A farmer, Mr. Wright was a member of the South Salem Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by his wife, the former Mary Lilliam Martindill; a son, 
Charles F. at home; two brothers, Edgar of Lyndon, and Harold S. Rt. 1 
Greenfield.

Services will be held at 2 pm Monday in the Murray funeral home here were 
friends may call after 4 pm Saturday.  Burial will be in Greenfield Cemetery.

THOMPSON
Lorin Oxley Thompson, age 86, of 1800 Riverside Drive, died Wednesday at 
 Methodist Hospital.  He was a former resident of Washington DC, for over 30 
years, where employed by the Federal Government.  He was the son of Dr. 
William Oxley Thompson, President of Ohio State University and Mrs. Starr 
Brown Thompson.  Survived by nephew, William Oxley Randall of Columbus: 2 
nieces, Mrs. Victor K. (Marianne) Thompson of Portola Valley Calf, and Mrs. 
William (Marcella) Winemiller of Columbus.  Preceded in death by son Lorin 
Andrew Oxley Thompson, deceased in 1947.  He was a graduate of of Ohio State 
University Law School.  Private graveside service Monday at Green Lawn 
Cemetery.  There will be no calling hours.  The family requests the omission 
of flowers.  Rev. Richard Crabbs officiating.  Arrangements by Schoedinger 
Northwest Chapel, 1740 Zollinger Road.

Roy Wright 2-4-1966
London, services will be at 2 pm Sunday in the Rader Funeral Home for Foy 
(Porc) Wright, 88, who died Thursday morning in Quiet Acres Nursing Home, on 
Palmer Rd, near Washington Court House.

A former employee of the State Highway Department he was clerk of the Madison 
Co. Bd. of elections in 1950, and at the time of his retirement several years 
ago, was employed as a guard at the McCord Corp. plant her.

He is survived by a son, Dorman of London, two daughters Mrs. Hazel Manning; 
North Hollywood, Calif, and Mrs. Raymond Ridenour, London four grandchildren 
and five great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 pm Friday, and burial will be in 
Paint Twp. cemetery, with the Rev. Gordon Skadra officiating.

WRIGHT
ELIZA CROMLEY
Daughter of Stephen and Mary (Hoffhines) Cromley, was born in Walnut 
township, Pickway County, Ohio on the 18th day of January 1834, and departed 
this life at her home in Ashville, Ohio on the 4th day of October 1916, 
having reached the grand old age of 82 years, 8 months, and 16days.

In the days of her infancy she was made a member of the Lord's kingdom by the 
holy sacrament of Baptism.  At the proper age, after a course of instruction 
in the fundamentals of the Christian Religion as set forth in Dr. Martin 
Luther's Catechism, she was confirmed in the St. Paul's Lutheran church, on 
the 17th day of April 1852, by Ref. J. A. Roof.  Later in life she 
transferred her membership to the English Lutheran church of Ashville, Ohio, 
with which she remained a faithful member until removed by death.

The deceased was united in the holy bonds of matrimony with Jacob Baam, in 
the autumn of 1858.  This union was blessed with three children namely, Lena 
leota, who died in infancy; Mattie Jane, wife of Rev. D. E. Snapp, who died 
August 1, 1890; Thaddeus W. Baum, who died September 18, 1910.  With her 
husband she was permitted to live until the 16th day of April 1876; when he 
was taken from her by the angel of death.

After a period of nine years the deceased was again united in marriage to 
William Wright of Madison township on the 4th day of December, 1885, by Rev. 
D. E. Snapp.

Again death entered her home and took from her side her husband on the 22nd 
day of July 1906.  Since this time until her death she remained a widow.  Not 
only was the deceased called upon to give up her partners in life, but also 
to part with the dear children of her first marriage.

Those of her immediate relatives who survive are: four grand-children, 
namely, Mrs. Prof. Busch Bexley, Columbus, O; Mrs. Bert L. Oman Duvall, Ohio 
Route 1, and the Misses Helen and Dorothy Baum, Duvall, O together with six 
great-grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. M. L. Roof, Ashville, O; Mrs. Ann M. 
Wheeler, Lima O, one brother, Mr. Henry Cromley, Ashville, O; two 
step-children; Mrs. J. B. Hinds, Ashville, O, and Mr. James Wright of 
Springfield, Ohio..  Besides these relatives, she leaves a very large circle 
of friends who will greatly miss her, for she was loved by many.

funeral services were held in her church at Ashville. on Friday afternoon 
October 6, 1916, conducted by her pastor, Rev. J. B. Ringle, and interment 
was made in the beautiful Forest cemetery at Circleville, Ohi where she now 
awaits the coming of her Redeemer to take those who are His into their 
internal home, after the great resurrection..
