W.F. FRENTZEL DIES UNEXPECTEDLY Rebecca Ellen Frentzel, 79, widow of William F. Frentzel, died Monday at 11 a.m. at her home, 617 Fulton street. She had been in apparent good health, but was stricken by a heart attack shortly before her death. Mrs. Frentzel was born in Fremont, November 2, 1865, a daughter of Solomon and Margaret Burgoon Albert. She married Mr. Frentzel on May 8, 1890, her husband dying in 1916. Survivors include a son, Harold W., at home; a daughter, Mrs. Robert Hendrickson, Chicago; a sister, Mrs. Marsh Cochran, Toledo; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A brother and six sisters preceded her in death. She was a member of Grace Lutheran church. Funeral arrangements in charge of Weller-Wonderly have not been completed. (Fremont News-Messenger, July 2, 1945) MRS. WILLIAM F. FRENTZEL The Rev. L.S. Price officiated Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Weller-Wonderly funeral home when services were conducted for Mrs. William F. Frentzel. She died Monday morning. Pallbearers included George Poorman, Delbert Poorman, Charles Clayton and Robert Lyon. FRENTZEL Will F Frentzel Died Saturday Six Weeks' Illness Fatal to Well Known and Life Long Resident Funeral Monday Afternoon at the Home - Many Relatives and Friends Survive - A Man Who Was Always Highly Respected William F. Frentzel, a highly esteemed, life-long resident of Fremont, died Saturday morning at 8 o'clock at the Stamm hospital following an extended illness. Mr. Frentzel suffered a nervous breakdown six weeks ago, from which he failed to improve, and during the past week had been in a critical condition and death was not unexpected. The funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the late residence at 617 Fulton street. Rev. J.C. Roberts, of the Methodist Church, will officiate and interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery. The deceased was the son of Jacob and Louise Frentzel, pioneers of this city, and was born here and educated in the Fremont public schools. Mr. Frentzel always made his home here. He was united in marriage to Miss Rebecca Albert, the surviving widow, in 1890. For years he was a valued employee at the Simple Account Co. plant, where he was employed up until the time of his last and what proved to be fatal illness. He was a member of the Grace Lutheran church. Mr. Frentzel is survived besides the widow by one son, Harold, a daughter, Mrs. Robert Hendrickson, of Chicago; his aged mother, Mrs. Louise Frentzel; one brother; Fred Frentzel; three sisters, Misses Louise and Minnie Frentzel and Mrs. R.B.H. Corey, of Fremont, as well as a large circle of friends and other relatives. (Fremont Daily News, September 9, 1916) Final Tribute Paid The Memory of Well Known Fremont Resident Many relatives and friends gathered at the late home, on Fulton street, Monday afternoon to pay farewell tribute to one of Fremont's best known citizens, William F. Frentzel. The funeral services were held at 3 o'clock, conducted by Rev. J.C. Roberts, of the Methodist church. Following the services the remains were interred in Oakwood cemetery. Mr. Frentzel died Saturday following a six weeks' illness due to a nervous breakdown. The esteem in which the deceased was held by all was shown in the many beautiful floral tributes. The pall bearers were Messrs. C.J. Bowlus, S.A. Daniels, Fred Frentzel, G.I. Stine, Wilbur Bowlus, and R.B.H. Corey. Among the out-of-town relatives who attended the last rites were: Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hendrixson, of Chicago; Mrs. Clem Williamson, Mrs. John Bowman and Mrs. Hufsy, of Toledo; Mr. and Mrs. M.L.
