The church and it's graveyard are located on the north side of 161 East of Beech Rd. just East of Licking County Line. I did not plan to read the cemetery, I just happened by (and had to stop!) and was without proper materials. No pen and paper, no brush and water, no camera! Used several pages in my calendar and opted to write down what I hope is all or almost all of the surnames. I did take note that the predominate familles here are BEEM, MERRILL, and BELKNAP. There are quite a few older graves; some as old as 1834. The cemetery seems to be very well cared for and it surprised me how readable most of the stones were. Several of the flat stones were fairly covered with grass and I would be willing to bet others were not visible at all; but perhaps this list will be of some help. Albery Baughman Beal Bear Beaver Beem Belknap Brady Brannon Brisker Brown Butler (??) Cain Campbell Carr Cilliland Cook Cutler Dague Davidson Doran Doud Evans Every Ford Frank Fravel Geiger Green Hapner Harrison Hendren Henthorn Hills Howell Jolly Jordan Kent Leavitt Legg Legg Lester Looker Lyon Merrill Miller Mills Mitchell Moore Myer Needles Noe Omalley Ours Peffers Preece Reussner Rhodes Rice Riley Roby Ross Saltz Savidge Smith Speelman Strait Sushaue Swick Tharp Thompson Vnscoy Ward Williams Zinn I did jot down just a few of the older stones before decided I needed to just write surnames due to my time table. Henry Jolly b 12-26-1757 in Chester County, Pennsylvania, died 7-29-1842. Pitzer Beem s/o William and catherine died 7-14-1834**this might have been the oldest stone. Louisa w/o George Cook d 8-15-1876 age 28y7m19d Duclst s/o J. & C. Dague d 11-7-1886 age 25y17m22d w/o James A. Needles d 12-1-1851 age 25y20d, this stone was broken and the part with her name was gone; but the rest of the stone was readable.
