D. MOFFITT was 90 years old Monday and the occasion was made a festal one in the way of a family reunion and sumptuous dinner, which was held at her home on Franklin street where she has lived for more than 40 years. Mrs. MOFFITT is remarkably vigorous for her age. She was born in Brownsville, Pa., December 7, 1806, and was the daughter of Col. Robert PATTERSON. She married James P. MOFFITT and with her husband came to Circleville in December 1842. Thirteen children were born to them, four of whom are living, viz: George R. MOFFITT, Williamsport; David C. MOFFITT, Decatur, Ill; R. D. MOFFITT and Miss Anna MOFFITT of this city. She has fourteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Mr. MOFFITT died in this city in 1851.
