Stanton COIT, 87, American clergyman who for many years had served as minister of the Ethical church in London, England, and who died at his home in Birling Gap, England, Monday, was a native of Columbus. He taught English at Amherst College, Amherst, Mass., and for several years before going to Britain in 1887, conducted a settlement house in New York City.
