WILDER, 71 of 1103 Selma Rd, died at 4:35 pm Tuesday in the Springfield Care Center. He was born July 6, 1909, in Edendon, NC a son of Thomas Jefferson and Ann H. Privott Wilder. He was a retired employee of the Thermometer Corp. of American. Mr. Wilder was a member of Ephriam IOOF Lodge, Mad River Encampment, Fidelia Rebekah Lodge, the Eagles and the Loyal Order of the Moose. Survivors include three sons, Bent and Dennis, both of Springfield, Gary of Florida, a daughter Mrs. Vicki Holland of Springfield, and two sisters Mrs. Willa Mae Culpepper of Virginia Beach, Virg; and Mrs. Lillian Tedwell of Windsor North Caroline, and a Brother, Thomas of Louisville, KY. His body was taken to the Jones O'Brien-Kennedy Funeral Home. There will be no visitation. Services will be at 11 am Saturday in the Chapel at Rose Hill Mausoleum in charge of the Rev. William Kerrick, pastor of Christ Lutheran Church. Entombment will be in the mausoleum. GRACE ROSEBOOM Mrs. Grace Roseboom, 70, died Sunday at 4:50 pm in the Ohio Masonic Home. She was admitted to the Masonic Home on Sept 4, 1937, from M.C. Harmony Lodge No. 2 Free and Accepted Masons, of Cincinnati. A daughter of, Mrs. S.S. Stewart of Covington, KY. survives. The body was removed to the Woods funeral home. MRS. MAE E. MCCONNAHA, 33 OF 1808 Sunset Av, died at 10:20 pm Sunday in the City Hospital, where she had been a patient since Aug 3. Survivors include her husband, Pearl. ARTHUR WILLIAMS, 62, formerly of Springfield, died at 3 am Sunday in a hospital in Fort Wayne Indiana following an illness of one week. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Arthur Williams, a son David Arthur and a daughter May Ellen William. The body will be brought Tuesday morning to the Ewing funeral home in this city, where the funeral....sorry folks this is the end of my page. JACOB V. HAX 76, died Sunday at 8:30 am in the city Hospital. Mr. Hax a South Charleston resident, was admitted to the hospital Friday. A native of Springfield, he was a retired businessman. He had lived for nine years with Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Groman in this city and for the last four years with them in South Charleston. Mr. Hax was a member of St. Joyn Evangelical and Reformed Church. He also was affiliated with Lessing Lodge No. 372, Knights of Pythias, and the German Beneveolent Society. The body was removed to the Woods funeral home for services Wednesday at 2 pm.
