JOSEPH GOELLER WED THURSDAY Simplicity marked the wedding of Miss Mabell Heise, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O. K. Heise, E. Mound Street to Dr. Joseph E. Goeller s/o Mrs. Wm. A. Goeller of S. Court Street, which took place in the rectory of St. Joseph's church, Thursday, Nov 26th at 5:30 pm. Rev. Frank Kirwin of Port Arthur Texas, a cousin of the bridegroom read the ceremony to the immediate family. The bride was attended by Mrs. Forest Short, of Pleasant Street, sister of the groom while Donald Goeller served as best man. Miss Heise wore a lace trimmed gown of brown alpaca with brown accessories. Mrs. Short was green crepe and matching accessories. Immediately after the ceremony, the wedding party went to the home of Mrs. Goeller, mother of the groom. The wedding dinner was served amid colorful rust and yellow chrysanthemums which formed the centerpiece at the Bride's table. Dr. and Mrs. Goeller left late in the evening for a short trip and plan to return after December the 1st. They will reside at 434 E. Franklin Street. Mrs. Goeller is a graduate of Circleville High School class of 1927, while the groom, Dr. Goeller was a graduated from Williamsport High School class of 1923, and from OSU Dental College class of 1932. MARTIN DIES MONDAY AFTER ILLNESS Omer C. Martin was born in Pickaway county, Ohio Feb 112, 1891 and died Monday June 18th, 1928 after an illness of several weeks. He was 37 years, 4 months, and 7 days old at the time of his death. He was the son of William and Sarah Ann Smith Martin. He was one of a family of ten children, four boys and six girls. One sister, Mazel, wife of John Morgan, died in February of 1919. His mother died in 1911 and his father in 1921. The rest of the family survive and live in Ross County. He made his home with his brother John Martin and family who lives near Clarksburg. He was a member of Brown's Chapel Methodist Church, Heber Lodge No 501 F. & A. M. and the Eastern Star Chapter at Willismsport. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at Browns Chapel with interment in the adjoining cemetery. The services were under arrangements of the Masonic Lodge of Williamsport. --------------------- GLADYS KNAPP Gladys Adelia Knapp, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Knapp of Browns Chapel died at her home Tuesday morning. She was in the fifth grade in Clarksburg. Gladys was born in Lucasville on November 27th 1915 and is survived by her parents. Services at Browns Chapel on Friday at 10 am. E. Patton were called to Somerset, PA, on Saturday night by the death of Mr. Patton's brother, Rev. Robert Patton, who had fallen between two cars and was killed. The deceased was on his way to this city to visit his brother, but taking sick at Pittsburgh, was on his way home when the accident happened. MR. J. H. MOORE was at Waverly on Tuesday attending the funeral of Mrs. Adam Gehres, the wife of the tenant on his Pike county farm.
