Item. I recommend my soul to my creator of whom I received and I recommend my body to the earth from whence it came by a decent burial. Item. After my funeral charges and all just debts are paid it is my will, and I do give and bequeath to my wife MARY - one bed, bureau and bedding, and one cow all which articles to be such as my said wife may choose. I also give and bequeath to my said wife MARY such part of my kitchen furniture as she may think proper to retain. Item. I give and bequeath to my son SAMUEL, the Northeast quarter of section eighteen, or township sixteen in range fifteen, and being the trail on which I now live. Item. I give and bequeath to my daughter MARTHA, wife of Isaac Willson, the sum of Ten Dollars. Item. I hereby request my executors here after mentioned as such time as they think proper to sell at public or private sale all my personal estate not here fore appropriated and after the payment of my just debts, and the legacies herein before stated, to divide the proceeds equally among my fallowing named children - To Wit - JOHN,JOSEPH,WILLIAM,MARY,BETSY, and RACHEL CLAYTON - if they my mentioned children can agree about the division of the Balance of my personal estate then it is my will and desire that the same be equally divided among them. Item. I do hereby certify and appoint my sons JOHN,JOSEPH and WILLIAM my executors, to administer this my last will and testament. I do hereby declare this to be my last will and testament hereby recognizing all former wills as codicil by me made.
