All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/oh/ohfiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Dorothy Wiland DorothyWiland@hotmail.com February 26, 2004, 10:57 pm Written: May 24 1811 Recorded: May 24 1811 1811  DEED James Boothby to James Rounds  May 24, 1811 Clemont, OH This Indenture made this 24th day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight  hundred and Eleven By and Between James Boothby of the county of Clermont and state of Ohio of the one part and James Rounds of the County and state aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said James Boothby for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and sixty-eight dollars to him in hand paid by the said James Rounds, the receipt whereof the said James Boothby doth hereby acknowledge and ? acquit and discharge him the said James Rounds his heirs executors and administrators ? the said James Boothby hath granted bargained and sold aliened  and confirmed and by these presents doth fully freely and absolutely grant bargain and sell alien and confirm until him the said James Rounds his heirs executors administrators or assigns a certain tract piece and parcel of land situate lying and being on the waters of ? lick creek, Williamsburgh Township Clermont County and State of Ohio beginning at a while ? and ash thence North four degrees West two hundred and fifteen poles to an elm thence east eighty to two beeches, thence South five degrees east two hundred and thirty poles to two sugar and birch and hickory thence North eighty degrees west eighty six and an half poles to the Beginning containing one hundred and thirteen acres and 112 poles. Together with all and singular the rights ? and appurtenances to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining also all the estate right title interest claim and demand as well in equity as in law of him the said James Boothby of in and to the same.  To have and to hold the above recited premises with all and singular the appurtenances to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining to him the said James Rounds his heirs executors and administrators and assigns forever, and the said James Boothby for himself his heirs executors and administrators do covenant and agree to and with him the said James Rounds his heirs executors administrators and assigns that he the said James Boothby his heirs executors and administrators  the hereby described premises and  all and singular the appurtenances to the same belonging unto him the said James Rounds his heirs, executors, administrators, assigns shall and will warrant and forever defend against all manner of person or persons lawfully claiming or to claim the same, ? ? money whereof the said James Boothby hath hereunto set his hand and caused his seal to be hereunto affixed the day & year first above written. All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/oh/ohfiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Dorothy Wiland DorothyWiland@hotmail.com February 26, 2004, 11:31 pm Written: September 7 1858 Recorded: January 18 1861 DEED  Samuel Walters and wife Lavina to Samuel Walters.  Volume 75, page 31. 1861 Know all Men by these presents that we Samuel Walters and Levina Walters wife of the said Samuel Walters of the County of Clermont Ohio in consideration of the sum of One hundred dollars $100 in hand paid by Wm Haywood of the County of Clermont in the State of Ohio aforesaid and have bargained and sold and do freely Grant bargain Sell and Convey unto the said William Haywood his heirs and assigns forever the following premises Situated lying and being in the County of Clermont Union Township Ohio being a part of Survey No 2745 and bounded and described as follows (to wit_, beginning at a state in the line of Joseph Davis and corner to Isaac Edwards thence with said Edwards line S 8o02W20 poles to a stone in the line of said Edwards thence N81 degrees 58 minutes West 34 poles to a stone in the line of said Joseph Davis thence with said Davis line N 66 ½ E ? 10 poles to the place of beginning containing Two acres and twenty poles be the same more or less. To have and To hold said premises with the appurtenances unto the said William Haywood his heirs and assigns forever And the said Samuel Walters for himself, and heirs do Hereby Covenants with the said William Haywood his heirs and assigns that he is lawfully seized of the premises aforesaid that the premises are free and clear from all incumbrances whatsoever and that he will forever warrant and Defend the same with the appurtenances unto the said William Haywood his heirs and assigns against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever.   In Testimony Thereof the said Samuel Walters and Lavina Walters have hereunto set their hands and seals this seventh (7) day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty eight. Heltman a Justice of the Peace in and for said County personally  ? appeared the within and above named Samuel Walters and Lavina his wife and acknowledged the signing and sealing of the within and above conveyance to be their voluntary act and deed and the said Lavina being at the same time examined by me separate and apart form her said husband, and the contents of said instrument being made known to her by me, she then acknowledged the same and that she is still satisfied therewith this 7th day of September A.D. 1858.  G.
